OOFOS was launching a new shoe, the OOMG, to complement their repertoire of active recovery footwear. The key to closing the sale was allowing shoppers to experience the fit and feel of the shoe. Therefore, the client needed a packaging solution that would allow shoppers to easily try on and place back in the box when finished.
OOFOS also had a few additional requirements. First, the packaging had to accommodate both men’s and women’s sizes. It also had to communicate the benefits of active recovery technology and show its role in the product design and manufacturing process.
INNOMARK presented several design options to the OOFOS management and marketing teams. Each alternative was designed to accommodate the brand’s budget and tight timeline. The final selection was a clear box with a clean look and prominent product messaging.
This project is a great example of INNOMARK’s ability to function as a design agency. The client outsourced the creative design to INNOMARK. We worked closely with their marketing and management groups to concept, prototype, and supply technical drawings to their overseas manufacturing team. The final design was produced and distributed for the OOMG launch.
