Picture it - photographic image quality combined with the benefits of digital printing. INNOMARK recently purchased and installed a new Kodak NexPress ZX3300. Unparalleled image quality and a variety of finishes, including matte, and gloss coating, provide an ideal solution for many brands and retailers, including luxury.
The ZX3300 offers many advantages over the previous NexPress model. A wide variety of upgrades and new features increase its scope of work and improve productivity. These include:
• Increased production speed (approximately 29% faster)
• Photographic image quality
• Larger sheet size (up to 14”x40”)
• Opaque white, light black, and improved dimensional clear effects
• More diverse material capabilities (including clear and magnetic stocks)
The ZX3300 has the ability to process a more diverse range of substrates and material weights. It can produce clear and static cling materials, as well as magnetic material and papers. Its predecessor was limited to 14-pt. papers. However, the new NexPress can process paper stocks up to 24-pt. and synthetic materials up to 14-mil.
This press’s greater material capabilities, larger sheet size, and coating options allow INNOMARK to produce a wider range of digitally printed materials at a quality level that rivals offset printing.
The NexPress is part of an ongoing initiative to invest in advanced digital printing technology. It is the second upgrade to INNOMARK’s digital equipment list in the past six months. It follows the addition of an Inca X2 flatbed press that is ideal for digitally printed display materials up to 63”x126”. This new equipment complements INNOMARK’s extensive collection of roll-fed and flatbed presses and digital cutting machines. It also solidifies INNOMARK’s position as one of the most powerful digital printing solutions in the Visual Marketing industry.
